Invalid ChildID when accessing e-mail

SYMPTOMS

When you click the ‘Login to your E-mail Account’ link on the Post Office the message “Invalid ChildID” appears.

 

CAUSE

Norton Internet Security is not completely initialized and is blocking access to the e-mail servers.

 

RESOLUTION

To complete the initialization of Norton Internet Security so that it will allow Razzul access to the Internet follow the steps below:

 

1)      Log in to a Child account that is Razzul Enabled.

2)      Click the Razzul Start Menu.

3)      When the Menu appears, click ‘Parents.’

4)      From the Parents menu choose ‘Exit to Windows.’

5)      At the prompt enter your parent password.  This is the password used when registering for the download or when accessing the Parents Admin site.

6)      After Windows loads, click the Start menu and choose Log Off.

7)      When the exit dialog appears, choose Log Off.

8)      At the Windows Welcome Screen click your child’s icon to log in to Razzul.

9)      Razzul will appear.

10)  From within Razzul, move the mouse to the post office and choose ‘Login to your E-mail Account.’

11)  Your e-mail will appear.
