SYMPTOMS
When a parent visits
the Razzul Admin Site at http://www.razzul.com/manage
and they enter the login e-mail and password, clicking the login button
does not allow access. Instead, they are returned to the login screen.
CAUSE
This is caused by the
Internet Explorer Browser not being able to accept cookies. The common
reasons for the IE browser to not accept cookies would be either Internet
Explorer settings or you have firewall software installed, such as Norton
Personal Firewall from Symantec Corporation. The article explains the
steps to enable cookies with Norton Personal Firewall.
RESOLUTION
Below are the steps
required to enable Norton Personal Firewall to allow the IE Browser to
accept cookies.
1)
Log in to your Parent
Account.
2)
Click the Windows Start
Menu.
3)
Click on ‘All
Programs.'
4)
Select the 'Norton
Internet Security' folder.
5)
From the menu select 'Norton
Internet Security.’
6)
NOTE: The Norton Personal
Firewall software may have been installed into a different location on
your system. The above steps are for when the default options are chosen
from the Norton Installer.
7)
Once the application starts
you will see a window similar to the following:

Click the 'Privacy
Control' option.

On the right click 'Configure'

The Privacy Control window
will appear:

Click the 'Custom
Level’ button and the ‘Customize Privacy Settings’ window will
appear:

From the Privacy Settings
window make sure ‘Private Information’ shows ‘Medium: Prompt me
each time’.

Next, make sure ‘Cookie
Blocking’ shows ‘None: Allow Cookies (recommended)’.
14)
Click the ‘OK’ button.
15)
On the previous screen,
Privacy Control, click the ‘OK’ button.
16)
You will be returned to the
Norton Personal Firewall Main Screen.
17)
You can now exit Norton
Personal Firewall and login to the Razzul Admin Site at http://www.razzul.com/manage
