in

SYMPTOMS
When a child’s account
is selected from the Windows Welcome Screen, it does not log in to Razzul
and a window appears with the following error message: Failed to add file
request to BITS job.
CAUSE
This
message is caused by the auto-update for Razzul and the BITS error
occurs when there are problems performing the update.
The most
common problem is a failure to write the update files to the directory
where Razzul is installed. This is caused by the account type for
your child being set to a "Limited Account" instead of a
"Computer Administrator" account.
RESOLUTION
Below are the steps
required to reconfigure your child’s Razzul account:
NOTE: FOR
THE FOLLOWING STEPS TO WORK CORRECTLY RAZZUL MUST ALREADY BE INSTALLED.
To verify
your child's account type follow the steps below:
1)
Log into your
account. (the parent account, not a child's account)
2)
Once logged in,
click on the Windows Start Menu and choose "Control Panel"
3)
From the Control
Panel choose "User Accounts"
4)
When the User
Accounts Control Panel opens locate you child's login icon
5)
Under your
child's name will be the account type... it should read, "Computer
Administrator
6)
If it reads,
"Limited Account" click on your child's icon
7)
Next, click the
text, "Change the account type"
8)
Verify that
"Computer administrator" is selected. If not, select it
and then click the button, "Change Account Type"
By making
your child’s account a computer administrator Razzul will have sufficient
permissions to run and upgrade the software.
