Adding Windows Volume Control to the
Razzul Start Menu

SYMPTOMS
There is no way to
adjust the volume from within Razzul.
CAUSE
Razzul does not have a
built in volume control.
RESOLUTION
Follow the steps below
to add a volume icon to the Razzul Start Menu:
1)
Log in to the Razzul Admin Site. The Razzul Admin Site is located at http://www.razzul.com/manage. You will be prompted for your e-mail
address and password
2)
Choose the child which you
would like to add the volume control for by clicking the ‘Select child to manage’ popup list
3)
Click the ‘Child Information’ button
4)
Click the ‘Add Application’ button
5)
A list of installed
applications will appear. Select the Radio Button under the list, labeled: ‘If you would like to allow access to an
application not listed above enter the information below’
6)
In the ‘Application’ field enter the following file path: x:\WINDOWS\system32\sndvol32.exe – Where x
is the drive letter where Windows is installed. The default
installation for Windows is usually drive C
7)
In the ‘Display Name’ field enter, ‘Volume Control’
8)
Click ‘OK’ You will be returned to the Child Information
Screen
9)
Click ‘Update’ Your settings will be saved and you will now
have a volume icon under the start menu the next time your child logs in
to Razzul
